How to Spa (Spa Etiquette)

1. Appointment

Relaxation is one key benefit of spa treatments and it is important to take full advantage of your visit. Being on time for your appointment is greatly appreciated so that you may receive your full service and other guests are not inconvenienced.
If possible, plan to arrive 10 to 15 minutes before your appointment.

2. Booking an appointment

For week-end appointments, we recommend that you book at least one week in advance to secure your best choice for time.
You can book by phone at 416-924-0531, by Email or on-line. Please note that we do not have a full time receptionist. It is important that you leave a voicemail so we can contact you back to confirm your appointment.
Please note that a valid credit card number is required at the time of booking.

3. Cancellation

Should a cancellation or date change be necessary, we request:
For individual service or Couple treatment: A minimum of 24 hours notice.
For group (4 people or more): A minimum of 48 hours notice for any week-day appointment and 72 hours for week-ends.

4. Medical history, Pre-treatment form and confidentiality

Please be open with your medical history so that your therapist can help you to choose appropriate treatments. It is especially important to know if you suffer from high blood pressure, heart conditions, allergies, pregnancy or recent injuries / surgeries as some treatments might not be recommended given those conditions.
New clients will be requested to complete an information / medical history form at the time of first appointment. Those information are strictly confidential and are not shared with any third parties nor stored electronically.

5. Late arrival

A late start due to late arrival will shorten your treatments as appointments finish on time (without change of price for the treatment). We will do our best to mitigate the situation without inconveniencing the next clients.

6. Methods of payment

We accept all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express), Debit Card and Cash. We do not accept personal checks.
Please note that you will need a valid credit card information at the time of reservation.
If you intend to pay or reserve your appointment with a gift certificate (Wayspa, Smartbox or Summerhill Spa), please have those certificates with you the day of your services.

7. For your comfort

The Spa is a place for quiet and relaxation and we ask guests to leave all cell phones, pagers, music players turned off before, during and after the services and thus until you are outside our facilities.
Robes and Slippers are provided for your comfort. To ensure your privacy, all services will be performed in the same room.
We regret that we cannot be responsible for the loss or damage of personal articles and recommend that you leave your valuables at home or at your hotel.
The Spa is a smoke free environment.

8. Gratuity

Gratuity is left to the discretion of our clients after the services. Gift certificates do not include gratuity unless noted otherwise.

9. Refund and Exchange

Gift Certificates purchase is final and non-refundable.
Unopened products purchased at the Spa can be exchanged for other products or services. Please bring the original product(s) and proof of purchase with you.
